Apple Just Dropped a Bomb On Us.

By jpistori

Alright, we all knew that the new iPad Mini was coming out….but who knew that they were going to hit us with a new iMac, Mac Mini, and a 13inch MacBook Pro Retina!

We all know I am an Apple Fanboy and I love to write in detail about the new and exciting technology, but as you probably can tell I have not had time to write ANY blogs lately. Don’t worry it’s a good thing…kinda. I have been bombarded with client work lately and all my “free” time is being utilized for said work. The thought of having a moment to do anything besides sleep, work, create, exercise….sleep, seems so far away. So I am forced to change this particular review into an “I want” article. Each item will have a link to the specs.

I want one!…..of each..

Control your privacy for free with Ghostery

By jpistori

We know how important log-ins and passwords are, and we go to great efforts to keep those secret. But what about your browsing data? Do you know if someone is having a peek in your browser history and trying to catch some precious behavioral data?

Have you ever Googled something and then, all of a sudden, you start seeing ads for products that directly relate to that search? Let’s say, for example, you’re getting ready for the upcoming football season and you need some new cleats. So, you Google “Football Cleats” and start shopping. Now, you may find that everywhere you turn (on the web of course), you see side banners and pop ups for Football gear. This is because Google sells your information to advertisers for a good fee. They find out what your interests are and sell the info to a company.  And that company now knows what target audience you are. Sell Sell Sell!!

Ghostery is your window into the invisible web – tags, web bugs, pixels and beacons that are included on web pages in order to get an idea of your online behavior.

Latest iPhone 5 rumors!

By jpistori

It’s that time again. The summer is here and we all know that a new iPhone will be coming out soon! It almost feels like radical speculations on new features and designs come out daily. Honestly.. I love it! I love reading what could possibly be true or not.

Using logical thought and following past trends that Apple has done you can pretty much narrow down what is going to be real or not.. for the most part. For example, let’s think about the name. I called this post “Latest iPhone 5 rumors” because if we think about past iPhones they seem to follow a naming convention.
